On Sunday, March 25 our Hebrew School students enjoyed a visit from the Traveling Model Matzah Bakery. Each child was given the chance to make his or her own Matzah. During the workshop, students measured, mixed, kneaded, rolled and prepared the ingredients that become matzah. In addition, every student took wheat stalks, threshed, winnowed and ground the wheat into flour with an authentic hand mill.
